Drama Team "Selah" Sundays at 5:00pm as Needed

Director:  Terrie Gipson

Location:  Varies

The Drama Ministry is called "Selah" which means "think about it."  This ministry strives to add to our worship experiences by acting out Biblical principles.  Our goal is to make people think about their relationship with Jesus through various forms of drama.

Mission Statement:  The Drama Ministry of WRBC will strive to be a team of believers in Christ who are committed to sharing Biblical truths with excellence through the use of drama during worship services.  We will seek to encourage people to become followers of Christ or to deepen their relationship with Him with this powerful tool.

Purpose and Goals:  The Drama Ministry of WRBC will:

  1. Teach dramatic techniques, including blocking, staging, characterizations, stage presence and memorization techniques to members of the drama team
  2. Always strive for excellence as members perform short skits, readers theater, monologues, pantomimes, etc., during worship services
  3. Be committed to assisting the music director with full-length productions
  4. Develop a repertoire of dramas that can be used during worship services when needed
  5. Set a goal to reach those outside our church walls by taking the drama ministry team to their locations
